ALCU Declares WAR -CV

FACT: the ACLU is obsessed with destroying the Catholic Church.

Their #1 priority right now is to force every Catholic hospital in America to perform abortions.

Last month a judge in Detroit tossed out their lawsuit targeting Catholic hospitals. And so this week they responded with a new report calling doctors and nurses at Catholic hospitals a “threat to women’s health and lives.”

The report includes several demands:

• A federal mandate forcing all Catholic hospitals to provide “emergency reproductive health care” (code words for abortion).

• A “systemic investigation” by the federal government of Catholic hospitals and “all necessary corrective action where violations are found.

• Changes in federal law to force Catholic hospitals to perform abortions.

This is an unprecedented attack on Catholic doctors and nurses who work each day to serve the suffering and sick.

Once again, it’s not enough for anti-Catholic bigots like the ACLU to defend the legality of abortion. Now they are on the march to force us to pay for it — and to force our nurses and doctors to kill the children too! They won’t rest until they force us to buckle and cooperate in their insidious Culture of Death.

But what about the rights of Catholic nurses and doctors? And what about patients who want health care that comports with their Catholic values?

This is where you come in.

Yes, we need to fight in court for the legal rights of Catholic doctors and nurses. And we will help in every way we can.

But we are in an election year. And now is the time to go on offense. Every political candidate running this year MUST answer the question: will they pledge to protect the rights of Catholics in healthcare? Do they believe, along with Planned Parenthood (and Hillary Clinton!), that nurses and doctors should be forced to destroy the lives of unborn children?

I want to assure you that this threat is on top of our list. The average voter is with us. Pro-abortion politicians know this goal is very difficult to defend. And so we must call out this extremism for what it is.

This is a bridge too far. Way too far!

These patients are grateful to the doctors, nurses, and health care workers who answer the call to help the sick. We can’t let the ACLU co-opt and coerce our hospitals into abandoning their Catholic identity.
